As a modern adult-contemporary artist and performer, Green has performed at venues including the Staples Center, Madison Square Garden, Wachovia Center, Citizens Bank Park, Canal Room, Knitting Factory, and the Tropicana Hotel & Casino. Green has performed for MTV's Rock The Vote and opened for Chris Brown, Buddy Guy, and Shontelle. She sang back up for Gnarls Barkley, featuring Cee Lo Green and Danger Mouse, at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards.[1]
Green's songwriting and recording collaborators include Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winning and nominated songwriter/producers Jud Friedman and Allan Rich, Frank Wildhorn, Steve Dorff, Jeff Silbar, Martin Briley, Amy Powers, CJ Vanston, and Alex Geringas.[2] She has worked with artists ranging from Bunny Sigler, to Lil Zane, to members of Cinderella and The Hooters, and she co-wrote "Crystal Eyes" for EMI Shanghai artist Metta Veronica Jensen.
In March 2013, Green signed a co-publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis.[3]
Green is a featured artist on Broadway Records’ Jekyll & Hyde 2012 Concept Recording, produced by Frank Wildhorn,[4] and she is working on a forthcoming modern adult-contemporary album.
Green grew up outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania.[5] She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
Green recorded the theme song to Logo series Pretty Hurts, her song "Here We Go Again" was the theme song of WE tv series I Do Over[6] and her song "These Girls" was the theme song of The Right Hand on The Movie Network.[7] "Crash Your Party" was used in the 30 Rock Martin Luther King Day spoof movie trailer, featuring Hugh Grant, Nick Cannon, Emma Stone, Liam Neeson, and Kristen Bell.
Her song "Get Up" is featured as the opening title song of An American Girl: McKenna Shoots for the Stars, which premiered on NBC in July, 2012. She also wrote and recorded the opening title song for Slightly Single in L.A.. Green has a song in upcoming Universal Pictures movie Hanni und Nanni 3.[8] Other songs have been featured in Life Happens, in promos for What's Your Number?, and on the House Bunny DVD.
